Upgrading I/O Controller on 7200VXR to NPE-G1

I have a problem at the minute whereby I inserted NPE-G1 into 7204VXR Chassis with 7200-I-O-2FE-E.

It seems we only have 16MB of bootflash: on NPE-G1 with 6.5Mb approx. taken up with boot image.

There are two PC Cards on the IO Controller with images on them. I can't read/access them and realise they are PC Cards as oppossed to Compact flash disks on the NPE-G1.

Is there any way for me to get a full image permanently on this box without CompactFlash Purchase?

I guess you dont have a choice but to upgrade the Flash. Because the router currently has 16 Mb flash out of which almost 7 Mb is taken up by the NPE-G1. I dont think you will be able to run a IOS image which just 9Mb of flash. So i guess the best way is to go for a higher Flash memory for the router.
