Hi,
The transit area through which you configure virtual link should have full routing information which is not true in stub areas.

Hi,
Virtual links cannot be configured using a stub area..?
more specifically, a VL cannot be configured through a stub area.
As Sathvik K V already has stated, a VL has go through a transit area, which is by definition pretty much the opposite of a stub area. However, a VL can connect a stub area with the backbone area - the requirement refers to the intermediate VL's transit area.
