VPLS support on Cisco ASR 1001

Hello experts,

Could someone confirm if VPLS supported on Cisco ASR 1001. I found https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11199006/vpls-asr1001 but still I am not sure if  it is supported on this platform. I have several 1001 boxes in our network but none configured for VPLS service as we mostly use Juniper. So am planning to install ASR 1001 as PE and setup VPLS. Has anyone actually configured VPLS on this platform, what license I will need and has anyone configured VPLS between ASR1001 and Juniper MX boxes?

Hello.

Yes, it's supported on ASR 1001. Interoperability issue may come from auto-discovery and signalling (LDP vs. BGP).
