Hello @JW Yao,

you're right, IPB stands for IP Base, which is a software package that provides basic routing and switching features for Cisco routers.

As I know, the IP Base package may includes the following features:

-Advanced Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities

-Routing Information Protocol (RIP) v1 and v2

-Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) stub

-Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) stub

-Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Lite

-Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) sparse mode

-Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP)

You can go to https://cfnng.cisco.com/browse/routing/products and check exactly what you will have as features with IP BASE

Best regards
