Why it cannot ping if the ping size is more than 300

Hi Why it cannot ping if the size is more than 300. Please see the below. Thank you

Target IP address: 10.1.1.10
Repeat count [5]: 100
Datagram size [100]: 300
Timeout in seconds [2]:
Extended commands [n]:
Sweep range of sizes [n]:
Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 100, 300-byte ICMP Echos to 10.1.1.10, timeout is 2 seconds:
.............!.........!.....!......!............!.....!.....!.....!..
.......!...!............!.....
Success rate is 11 percent (11/100), round-trip min/avg/max = 10/10/20 ms
