Hi All,

We need a CISCO router or switch with both wired and wireless connetions.

Initially we have a router (ADSL) provided by the Broadband service provider with wireless and wired access but It's not enough now because the number of users are now increased.

Can Any one give me a Idea about a router or a switch that I can purchase for this senario?

thanks.

Router sizing usually depends more on expected "volume" of transit traffic than number of users.  Do you have an estimate for that?

Also, would need to know the number of links, and their types.

Hi Chamith,

if are sure that no further growth is going to be then you can buy a Cisco 887VA (wireless version)

otherwise i would strongly reccomend a 1941W. Very cool machine:

A final consideration should be the future deployment and the throughput you have to manage. for this i would suggest to check the file in attachment.

Hope to help
