X.25 problem

The customer complains he can't transmit any x.25 packet.

The sh x25 vc 1 command returns:

SVC 1, State: D1, Interface: Serial5/3

Started 01:05:08, last input 00:08:32, output 00:06:37

Connects xxxx <--> PAD

Window size input: 7, output: 7

Packet size input: 128, output: 128

PS: 5 PR: 5 ACK: 5 Remote PR: 6 RCNT: 0 RNR: FALSE

Window is closed

Retransmits: 0 Timer (secs): 0 Reassembly (bytes): 0

Held Fragments/Packets: 0/1

Bytes 370651/180381 Packets 3061/1757 Resets 0/0 RNRs 0/0 REJs 0/0 INTs 0/0

After reseting this svc with clear x25 vc 1, the customer can get to communicate.

"Held Fragments/Packets: 0/1" counter is increased and the message "Window is closed" appears in the show command.

What could it be?

Problem could be on an entirely different platform. Some thing like, if there is a gateway or router in your network that has CBAC or Firewall enabled on that, you need to enable PAD for this network of yours.
