Can I connect ISR 4331 and Meraki MX250 via SD WAN?

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning to set up a new HQ site with SDWAN. I chose MX250 for the SDWAN and security services. We have an existing branch that uses ISR 4331, Can I connect the branch site to the new HQ site via SDWAN considering all licenses needed for both devices will be purchased?

No, unfortunately they are different solutions. Cisco SDWAN is an architecture with Cisco routers with IOS XE operating system (now Catalyst SDWAN) and Viptela OS. Meraki SD WAN is a software based solution on the MXs, there is no way you will be able to establish omp and bfd between MX and ISR or Catalyst, vManage and vBond

Thank you!

Hello!

No those are two seperate technologies. Maybe in the future cisco plans to do some sort of integration between them but no plans for now.
