Can we monitor vSmart, vBond, vManage using SNMPv3

Hi,

For compliance reasons I need to monitor (using SNMP v3) the availability and performance of vSmart, vBond, vManage components itself using an external NMS tool. Is that possible and does controller components support SNMPv3.

Pls note I am not asking if vManage can be used to perform SNMP monitoring. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

try to use template for controllers for SNMP. In configuration there is v2 and v3 option.

I didn't test in production though, but you can try. You can find viptela MIB link in the last lines of config guide:
