cedge-vpn-tracker does not exist

Hi guys.

I'm trying to connect Cisco Umbrella with cEdge.

While pushing it with template, Error "cedge-vpn-tracker does not exist" is repeating.

How can I solve this problem ?

cEdge Version : 17.3.5

I will appreciate to you If you give me help.

Yes, please. 17.9.3 is stable / recommended release.

hi JJPark -

Looks like you don't have 'tracker' configured.
You need to configure tracker it. It could be an interface trakcer.

With newer releases, we have 'auto-tracker' in place with SIG Tunnels.
This will automatically will create the tracker for SIG Tunnels.

Feature Template > Tracker > [tracker]
Feature Template > Cisco VPN Interface Ethernet > [My template] > Advanced > Tracker > [tracker]

But I can't still make SIG Tunnel.

I'm sorry in advance that I'm not expert of SD-WAN.

where did you create "cedge-vpn-tracker"  tracker? AFAIK, in earlier releases, it should be tracker from system template.

I never made "cedge-vpn-trakcer"

I dont know why this error still happen.

Its really hard to understand.

I even made every template about tracker, but still not working.

I see that you mentioned that you are running 17.3.5
There are several updates done to tracker functionality as there are different use cases of it
.. which includes tying with SIG.
Would recommend trying with latest 17.6 image, to try the SIG with tracker.
For example 17.6.5.2


Below is an example of SIG with Auto Tunnel on a cEdge device.
Look for "AUTO" in the below show command.
It denotes - Auto Tunnel

cEdge#show endpoint-tracker records
Record Name Endpoint EndPoint Type Threshold(ms) Multiplier Interval(s) Tracker-Type
#SIGL7#AUTO#TRACKER http://service.sig.umbrella.com API_URL 1000 2 30 interface

For your manual tracker - you need to map this under:
* Feature Template >
* Add Template >
* Cisco Secure Internet Gateway (SIG)

If Auto-Tracker is in place - it is under the same feature template. Screenshot below

What is your vManage version? Could you share the entire template (or templates)  configuration here, please?

There is no tracker config. (Version 17.9.3)

I tried pushing same template to below devices.

- C1111 (Ver 17.3.5)

- C1111 (Ver 17.6.5, Ver 17.9.3)

 

This error occurs only 17.3.5, There is no error other versions.

I'm really appreciate to you.

Thx. It is good to stay on 17.6 and/or 17.9 releases.
It is good to be on the latest recommended release(s)
The next long term recommended release is going to be 17.12.x / 20.12.x
