Cisco smart account Query

1.When we buy new Viptela edge device from cisco then we get serial number and that serial number ,we add to cisco smart account or cisco PNP portal and we get serial file of that edge device.

after this ,do cisco smart account gives information of this device to Vbond and Vbond tells it to Vmanage and Vsmart about this edge device, right?

2.after this ,we upload above serial file in Vmanage at option upload wan edge list and push to controller .

does here ,all controller validates this serial file information with information that he got from cisco smart account

right?

no validation through smart account.

• Controllers rely on and believe information from vManage
• vManage rely on and believe information from admin configuration (manual upload or smart account sync

Devices appear in smart account if you have provided customer SA while purchasing or on next-steps (at worst case, they are stored in some other holding account). You have also option to add them one-by-one.

You also need manually to create vBond controller profile and assign devices to it (it is automatically selected if profile is default).
