Hi.
I have been trying to find out what will be the DNS Server configuration on a vEdge Router with two transport networks; mpls and internet. Logically, both the links will be connected in vpn0 and the vEdge will point to the vBond FQDN as per best practice. The controllers will be deployed On-Premise and there will be more than one vBond in the network; hence the need for FQDN. I understand that the DNS Server configuration is per vpn on the vEdge.
Should I configure a Private DNS Server on the vEdge or should I configure a Public DNS Server? Or Both?
Would be great to receive some answers.
Thanks,

You can config two dns server: one is prefer(Public DNS), other is sec(Private DNS).
Two transport tunnel will try these DNS Server to get vbond address.

I believe that the DNS server would only be used by the vEdge for resolution of traffic originating from the vEdge. So as long as you can resolve the DNS request either should work.
