SD-WAN Aggregation router deployment at DR site

Hi,

I am going to deploy aggregation router at SD-WAN DR site. i am using vmanage cluster in primary and DR as well. primary site is up and running. i am using hub and spoke topology in our sd-wan network and using the same site id 201 for both aggregation routers in primary site. now i am going to up my DR site. i want to know what site ID have to use for DR aggregation router and from which vmanage cluster to push the template to DR aggregation route. thanks.

Regards,

Muhammad Kashif

Hi,

since primary and DR sites are different network parts, you should you different SITE IDs. This is needed for policy and normal BFD sessions (by default routers with the same site-id dont create data plane connection).

Deploy standby cluster at DR site. You will push config from primary cluster which is in the first site (primary).
