sd-wan controller with Multi-vendor edge routers and firewalls??

Hi Everyone,

We are planning to deploy SD-WAN solution in our environment, and got a suggestion for cisco viptela.

My question: Is CISCO SDWAN CONTROLLER can manage multi-vendor Edge router or Firewalls? i.e. juniper, HUAWEI, IBM, and AVAYA etc...

 What do you mean by "manage" ? 

Cisco sdwan Controller (vManage, vSmart and vBound) are meant to manage Cisco vEdges only. And they must  be running cisco sdwan mode IOS.

I mean if I have Cisco sd-wan controller and on some of the sites I have cisco v-edges but on some other sites I have some other vendors (juniper, huawei) v-edges... So can that cisco controller will be able to manage these by some way?

Hi,

Flavio already answered you. Long story short, Cisco SD-WAN solution manages only Cisco SD-WAN products.
