Hi All,
On vManage 18.4.4 getting a 'Failed to upload software image' tried different images but always getting the error message 'input is not in the .gz format'
I saw another thread with the same issue
Unfortunately trying all my browsers & private session & rebooting etc not helping. Does anyone know where the software repo is? I want to try to SCP the image over to it.
I can't go to TAC unfortunately as it's a lab build.
Cheers
George

This seems to be a known bug with vManage 18.x specifically.

Hi , Same here as well.
I tried many different ways ( different browser, laptop, making gzip manually checking the browser developer tab and see the response still gzip , but the download file still zip), no luck yet.

Its solved by using virtual account.
The new virtual account should be the default one.

Thanks for your reply,
I believe it's version issue as i'm using version 18.X ( unfortunately don't have a right access to get new version of vManage).
the virtual account is default , no issue regarding that.
I examined different ways , by checking the browser developer (network logs) and saw the server responding with gzip , interestigly what I get in actual download it's not gzip, it's zip file with viptela extension.
