SDWAN Cedge to vManage UDP Packet Length

As per above picture, telco gateway router replies ICMP type 3 Code 4 message to the cEdge router patternly, when cEdge trying to send UDP packet of >1500 length to vSmart. My question is 

1. Do I have to remove DF bit with "clear-dont-fragment" command?

2. Why that UDP packet size is so big?

What MTU value do you use for transport interface/ subinterface?

Clear DF is possible for tunnel interface and for traffic between cedge-cedge.
