SDWAN-EDGE ISR4451 Operating system

Good day.

I am about to deploy a SDWAN network base con viptela devices ISR4451 and I dont know what is the recommended OS for this platform. 

My understanding is tha XE SDWAN operating system is not the same the Viptela Operating System.

Do you have any insight that can help me?

Hi,

You are correct. XE SDWAN OS is different from Viptela OS. ISR 4451 SDWAN Routers run IOS XE SDWAN images. Please refer to this link for more info. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/solutions/enterprise-networks/sd-wan/compatibility-matrix.html
