DEM AI-Powered Troubleshooting
Feature Overview:
The AI assistant now utilizes Experience Insights data, encompassing endpoint metrics such as CPU, memory, and WiFi performance, as well as cloud connectivity metrics like latency, jitter, and packet loss. Furthermore, users can now inquire about ThousandEyes endpoint licensing to ensure endpoints are properly licensed to execute synthetic tests. By addressing licensing limitations upfront, users can concentrate on diagnosing and resolving actual performance issues. Overall, this empowers a more comprehensive and efficient troubleshooting experience for resolving end-user access issues.

ThousandEyes Endpoint License Management
Feature Overview:
A new licensing table located above Endpoint Tests in Experience Insights makes it simple to view, understand, and optimize ThousandEyes endpoint licenses (Embedded, Essentials, Advantage). This centralized view eliminates the need to cross launch to the ThousandEyes dashboard resulting in a streamlined troubleshooting experience. To access this, ensure the user that has done the ThousandEyes integration has Organization admin in ThousandEyes.
Key Benefits:
Documentation and Resources:
ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent Auto-Registration
Feature Overview:
With the latest version of ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent (2.3.1 or 2.3.3), endpoints will now auto-register to their Secure Access organization once the ThousandEyes integration has been complete. As a result, there is no longer a need to manual register them with the command-line string. Agents on Windows or MacOS devices are registered automatically if at least one of the following modules is active: Roaming module, VPN, or ZTA. This feature is enabled for all customers.
Key Benefits:
Documentation and Resources:
OAuth 2.0-Based Onboarding Experience
Feature Overview:
Experience Insights now supports OAuth 2.0 for ThousandEyes integration, replacing the manual copy and paste of the ThousandEyes bearer token. Users will now leverage a secure and user-friendly wizard with a seamless cross launch to ThousandEyes, significantly streamlining the onboarding process.
Key Benefits:
Documentation and Resources:
Best Practices:
Customers who have previously integrated with ThousandEyes by copying and pasting the bearer token are highly encouraged to move to Oauth 2.0 as tokens are valid for only 2 years.
Synthetic Test Traffic Calculator
Feature Overview:
When configuring any synthetic test, we recommend using this built-in calculator to help estimate peak traffic when testing private resources. This ensures that administrators can make informed decisions so that tests do not overload critical applications.
Key Benefits:
Documentation and Resources:
Npcap Driver Visibility
Feature Overview:
Experience Insights now highlights Windows devices where the Npcap driver (used by the ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent) is unsupported. A warning icon next to the Devicename field allows administrators to quickly identify and diagnose endpoints where metrics cannot be collected due to Npcap issues. This ensures organizations are fully utilizing the powerful insights powered by ThousandEyes for every endpoint.
