I’m new to Cisco Secure Access and I’m really excited to explore this powerful solution.
I want to understand it step-by-step, build a lab setup, and go deeper into how it works in real environments.
Here’s what I’m planning:
1. Understand the Technology Basics
→ I want to learn how Cisco Secure Access works – components, architecture, policies, and integrations. Any good starting resources or beginner labs would be helpful.
2. Deep-Dive into LAB Testing
→ I plan to simulate different scenarios in my lab to learn by doing – including access control, ZTNA behavior, identity checks, and policy enforcement.
3. Build Real-World Use Cases (POC)
→ My goal is to create a POC that shows practical use cases like secure remote access, BYOD scenarios, browser-based access, posture enforcement, and more.
4. (Extra Point – Add-on Value)
I also wish to understand how Secure Access compares with traditional VPN and how technologies like QUIC, MASQUE, and ZTNA come into play. If there are example topologies or test cases, please share.
Would love to get some guidance, sample lab topologies, documentation, or shared experience from others who have already implemented or tested Cisco Secure Access.
