CSM NB-API troubleshoting

Hello Experts,

Can someone give some links or document which has troubleshoting guidelines for Cisco CSM NB-API.

I'm  looking for error files names, any configuration details which are required for getting data from nb-api mentioned in

"Cisco Security Manager 4.3 API Specification".

For ex:-

i'm getting error in using "deviceListByCapabilityRequest" as

Request payload has validation errors: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'deviceListByCapabilityRequest'.

Please check the data entered in the properties file

Usage :

java RestClient <path_to_client.properties> [<uri>]

Hi Bidyut,

I have tested this NB-API functionality and worked fine for me. You can use firefox extension RESTClient (

http://restclient.net/) to test if CSM server is responding as expected. This should help you isolate the problem.
