Hello fellow network engineers,
I’m curious about a feature of cisco Stealthwatch, which I came across during my research.
The feature I mean is the “Host Group Automation Service”.
I read about it in the following pdf from cisco:
https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/global/en_uk/assets/pdfs/at-a-glance-c45-736855.pdf
But in the stealthwatch documentation I can’t seem to find any reference of this feature.
Did this feature ever get implemented in any Stealthwatch software version?
If so, do any of you maybe already use this feature?
Kind regards
Phil

Hello,
this feature does exist but is implemented by the Stealthwatch integration service team.
So it is customized to your needs and very specific to your sources of IP adresses to be used for the host groups.
We found it very useful for more dynamic environments, where we can get daily updates for host groups.
Kind regards,
Florian
