Hi,
Is it possible to migrate an existing SNA deployment where all the components are virtual to the Data Store architecture?

Hi Antonio,
Short answer is yes. You can move to data store deployment regardless of your non-data components are virtual or hardware. Only limitation here you must have all VM or all HW data nodes, you cannot mix and match - only for the data nodes-
You need to be on 7.4.2 or a later release. Once you start the transition, new data will be kept on data stores. However, existing telemetry will not be migrated to data stores. Once you finalize the transition - at the time you dont need existing telemetry-, telemetry before transitioning will be deleted from flow collector.
Please note you wont be able to use desktop client with CDS deployments.
You can check this guide starting from page 174 for transitioning and this guide for data store deployment options and requirements.

Thanks oevranos.
I thought that only some versions of the physical appliances could be migrated only.
