Hi
I have an issue with stealthwatch v7.3. My smc no show the name of the interfaces for exporters. It usually display ifindex-24567xx ---
My config is
match datalink mac source address input
match datalink mac destination address input
match ipv4 tos
match ipv4 protocol
match ipv4 source address
match ipv4 destination address
match transport source-port
match transport destination-port
collect interface input
collect transport tcp flags
collect counter bytes long
collect counter packets long
collect timestamp sys-uptime first
collect timestamp sys-uptime last
I use sampler for the switch.
The community for snmp is v3. I have snmp ifindex persist and polling time is 1min.
Do you have any suggest?
Regards, Ivan.

I had the same issue, TAC said it is a bug and to upgrade to the latest version of 7.3 or 7.4. We upgraded to 7.4 but some of the interfaces from exporters are not being displayed in the SMC.

We are using 7.4.1 and we are also seeing some interfaces show as ifindex , so not sure what was fixed , but is random.

cisco dcloud 7.4.1 demo also showing all interfaces show as ifindex,What is the relationship between the number of ifindex and the interface on the exporter?

Hello,
does this happen for interfaces which are capable of more than 1gb/s?
You might need to enable ifX table columns in the SNMP profile on the SMC / Manager.
