Cisco’s Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is including Open Vulnerability and Assessment Language (OVAL) definitions in Cisco IOS security advisories.
Cisco recently contributed to the OVAL language by adding new schemas for Cisco ASA and Cisco IOS-XE Software. The new schemas are now part of the OVAL Version 5.11.
The schemas can are also hosted in the OVALProject Language Repository on GitHub.
