Resolution
- Use a flat rollover cable (typically light blue, black or green) and insert it in the console port on the PIX. Do not use a crossover cable.
- Take the other end and connect it to an RJ-45 db-9 adaptor.
- Connect the adaptor to the comm port on your PC.
- Start Windows Hyperterminal and configure it to connect out the comm port with the following settings.
- Bits per sec : 9600
- Data bits : 8
- Parity : none
- Stop bits : 1
- Flow control : none
