The Cisco Success Network is a cloud service, that users can enable, which continuously collects and transmits usage information and metrics. It is done over a secure connection between the device and the Cisco cloud to transmit usage information and statistics sent to the Cisco cloud. You can find the list of data collected here.

How to enable Cisco Success Network
If you already have a Smart Account, the process is extremely simple (click here if you haven't). Simply, navigate to System > Licenses > Smart Licenses in the Firepower Management Center GUI and follow the steps in the screenshot below
