The Cisco Success Network is a cloud service, that users can enable, which continuously collects and transmits usage information and metrics. It is done over a secure connection between the device and the Cisco cloud to transmit usage information and statistics sent to the Cisco cloud. You can find the list of data collected here.

As a Secure Firewall customer, this streaming telemetry provides several advantages

  • It notifies users about unused features that can enhance the effectiveness of the Firewall in their network.
  • It keeps users up to date for the best recommended software release personalised to the user.
  • Provides users visibility about additional technical support services and monitoring options that are available for their product.
  • It helps Cisco in improving their products.

The device maintains a continuous and secure connection, allowing users to opt out at any time.

 
A few things to note: 
  • Cisco Success Network is enabled by default
  • Cisco Success Network is disabled if the management center has valid Smart Software License Manager on-prem (formerly known as Smart Software Sattellite Server) configuration or uses the Specific License Reservation
  • Cisco Success Network is not supported in evaluation mode
