Resolution
Perform these steps to implement Citrix MetaFrame support on the Cisco VPN 3000 Series Concentrator with the Independent Computing Architecture (ICA) Web client:
- On the VPN concentrator, create a group called Citrix_CCO ID.
Note: If the CCO user ID is bpugh, the group name would be Citrix_bpugh.
- Use the CCO user ID to create a unique user, and make the user a member of the previously created group.
- Under the WebVPN tab of the group, enable Citrix MetaFrame support.
- Under Servers and URLs, enter Citrix Services in the Name field, then choose HTTP Server for the server type, and enter 10.10.10.98 in the Remote Server field.
- On the Certificate Management page, re-generate the public Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate and enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) in the Common Name (CN) field.
- Log out of the admin session and on the local PC, add the FQDN as entered in the CN field of the public SSL certificate.
- Clear the browser cache and cookies, and add the FQDN as a trusted site.
- From the browser, initiate a WebVPN connection. Use the FQDN to install the SSL certificate into the browser.
- Click View Certificate at the Security Alert prompt, and install the certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
- Click Yes to proceed.
- Enter the logon credentials for the WebVPN session created in steps 1 and 2 of this procedure.
- From the WebVPN home page, click on the previously created Citrix URL.
- On the Citrix Web Interface page, enter userx for the username and the password.
Note: Ask your lab instructor for the value of x in the username.
- Launch a published application from the Citrix Web Interface page.
