This article describes how to re-generate the licenses for crashed/re-image FireSIGHT Management Center Virtual Appliance. If Virtual FireSIGHT manager crashed and which has to be re-deploy using Vmware OVF file. At this situation, license key will be changed for newly deploy virtual FireSIGHT manager, hence licenses has to re-generate using new license key. Now, just go to licensing portal using below URL & login with CCO ID credentials
http://www.cisco.com/go/license
Choose option “Continue to Product License Registration”. In the “Manage” section, choose option “Licenses”.
Locate the license ID for which license need to re-generate and hover the mouse over that license ID and click on option just in front of license ID
Choose option “Rehost/Transfer” and fill new license key in "Target Device and SKU details” and click on “Next” button to move further.
Now verify the license key in "license Request" option and click on “Submit” button to generate the license which can be downloaded from next page and one copy to license will be send to CCO ID’s register email ID.
