Core issue

This issue occurs due to the presence of Cisco bug ID CSCse33757.

This issue occurs after a replication between Access Control Servers (ACSs). If the secondary is restarted, the server/appliance goes to 100 percent Central Processing Unit (CPU) usage.

A failure in the checkpoint that forces the database (DB) to sync with the restore file causes this problem. The reload causes a DB corruption.

This bug found in the ACS version 4.0(1.42).

Resolution

For a workaround:

In order to resolve this issue, upgrade to ACS 4.1(1) version.

Refer to Cisco Downloads in order to download the latest software image.
