Core issue

This message indicates that some packets arrive out of sequence. As a result, some packets are dropped or are not sent.

Resolution

Normally, this message can be ignored. However, if the system status or the memory status on the Cisco VPN Concentrator is in the red, this message is a cause for concern. This is because, in such circumstances, packet drops occur due to performance issues or hardware malfunction.

If performance issues occur, or if the VPN Concentrator reloads, perform these steps:

  1. Select Administration > File Management on the VPN Concentrator.

  2. Check whether a CRASHDUMP file is present.

  3. If the CRASHDUMP file is present, click View, and save the file as a .txt file.

  4. Open a Service Request with Cisco Technical Support, and include the saved .txt file.
