I would like to verify the dhcp lease time. The time is calculated from the moment a client receives a lease, not from when the dhcp server has set a release time. Example. A client requests a dhcp lease at 8:03am. DHCP lease time is set for 24 hours. The client stays online and at 8:03am the next day the IP address is renewed. IT IS NOT if the client requests a lease at 7:30am and will receive a new address at the end of a 24 hour window time (ie, not 33 minutes latter at 8:03) that is set inside the dhcp server.

You already know this, I'm sure...but you are correct.
