Is there any possibility by which a primary switch(nexus 5k) can trigger something which can cause the vlan database to be deleted from secondary switch(Nexus 5k) when they brought up on vpc?

Hi Anuj,
If you want to delete in both Primary and secondary switch , you can try with Config-sync or VTP3.
If you want to delete only in secondary switch through primary switch,i don't think we support this.
Thanks,
Muthu.

Its not like I want to make it happen, it happened on our environment and I was asking if it could happen.
We brought up the primary switch up in the network by configuring it from scratch and making it come up as secondary unit but when we brought up VPC, vlan database on the new switch got deleted and I want to know if there is any reason for that?

Hi Anuj,
Thanks for the reply.
1) Do you configured VTP in your setup ?
2)Tell me you are saying vlan database is deleted in new swtich once VPC is up. After deletion it copied Primary vlan database ?
Thanks,
Muthu.
