I was creating a virtual machine, entered the incorrect IP address, then the NTP said it was unsuccessful. Why is it necessary to use the right IP address for the server in order to connect to the NTP? My best guess is the IP address has to be within the scope of IP addresses for the network configured to reach the NTP server, am I correct in that?
