We have installed VMware ESXi 7.0 U3 (Build 24723872) on our Dell device. As per Broadcom’s recommendations, it is advisable to upgrade to a later build version to address critical security and stability concerns.
The recommended build details are as follows:
ESXi Version: 7.0.3
Currently Installed Build: 24723872
Recommended Fixed Build: 7.0U3w (Build 24784741)
We would appreciate your guidance on the following:
Should we proceed with implementing the latest recommended build version directly?
Or would it be more appropriate to create and deploy a custom build tailored to our hardware and environment?
Kindly confirm the preferred approach so we can proceed accordingly.
