I madea mistake of removing and deleting the vm before removing the dvs from the vsm. now I am stuck with a ghost dvs.
I tried redeploying the 1000v and using the same dvS name. I unregistered the old dvs extension key in vsphere, restarted the services and confirmed that the old extension key no longer exit in the mob.
I was able to sucessfully redeploy the 1000v using the same dvs name using the java installer. but after I logged into the vsm and did a
no vmware dvs
I got the error below
