I'm working with openVuln API in order to get and parsing some information regarding Cisco Security Advisories and Alerts.
For security products like ASA or ISE in not possible to fetch information related the software release effect directly by API. Let's me give my points of discussion:
- First at all, via API is not possible to get Fixed Release for This Vulnerability information but the links with these information.
- Secondarily, some advisories (like this https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20181219-asa-privesc) contains table with Fixed Release for This Vulnerability information. There are not in parsing format (xml, json, etc.) but I'm deal with python and some website scraping library.
- Then some other advisories (like this https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20181003-asa-syslog-dos) don't contains any information regarding Fixed Release. I have to find then in Cisco Bug IDs links Why ?
