Hi,
I am having a problem where I cannot get the inter VLAN routing working correctly and I was hoping someone can help. I had all this working with another router so I am happy that the switch configuration is correct and its something to do with the router. I have provided the configuration information below:
VLAN ID 1: 192.168.1.0/24 - Router: 192.168.1.254
VLAN ID 10: 192.168.10.0/24 - Router: 192.168.10.254
VLAN ID 20: 192.168.20.0/24 - Router: 192.168.20.254
VLAN ID 30: 192.168.30.0/24 - Router: 192.168.30.254
VLAN ID 40: 192.168.40.0/24 - Router: 192.168.40.254
VLAN ID 50: 192.168.50.0/24 - Router: 192.168.50.254
LAN PORT 1 = 192.168.1.0/24 (Office LAN)
LAN PORT 4 = VLAN TRUNK
I can ping the router address (10,20,30,40,50).254 from the 192.168.1.x hosts, however I cannot pings hosts on the .10 - .20 networks. The router it self can ping hosts on the .10 and .20 networks fine.
I have the inter VLAN routing enabled for the two networks I care about 10 and 20 so I am not sure why this isn't working. How can the router ping the hosts on all networks but the hosts cannot ping across subnets.
Please see images attached for Router configuration.

Hello,
Thank you so much for the clear explanation and the screenshots.
I dont have an answer for you "yet", but I do have a couple of questions:
1- What device is being used as the DHCP server for the other VLANS?
2- What is the default gateway you are using on VLANs 10 and 20?
3- Just out of curiosity, have you disabled your windows (or any other firewall) on the PC's you are trying to ping to and from?
Please let us know.
