VPN Client that works with Windows 10 and RV130 VPN Router??

Hello,

I can't seem to find a straight answer on this. We use the RV130 for simple LANs, mostly for AV equipment routing and addressing. We are starting to need VPN's setup for remote operation. I cannot seem to find what client can work with this router and Windows 10. I tried Shrewsoft, as is recommended by Cisco, but it fails to connect, and besides, the last update was from 2013. This router is not ending its sale, so why is it so hard to find a simple VPN client list that is compatible? Is there a similar router that would be better and has a known VPN client that works with not many problems? Thanks

I found that using Shrewsoft v2.2.0 works on Windows 10 but the newer ones did not.

Hi, the RV130W uses standard IKEv1/IPSec implementation and any VPN client supporting this standard should work ( including Shrewsoft )

To make things easier with current Laptops we launched RV160W, RV260W, RV340W.

these support IKEv2/IPSec which is built in Win10.

RV340W also support Cisco Anyconnect SSL client which is a clinet for all mobile devices and Laptops.RV340W also supports L2TpoverIPSEc.
