9148 ISL, zone merge failure

I was trying to connect 2 mds 9148 switches with an ISL link(trunk). I encountered an error saying "Zone merge failure, isolating interface fc1/46 reason: Member mismatch". The zonesets & vsans were just configured using the quick config wizard and the default values (vsan 1, zone 1, etc). What is the solution for this.

are these two brand new switch or you are adding a new switch to a production switch ?

Both are new switches.. we have 2 separate data centers, 2 x 9148 on each site.. and then to be connected via dwdm

1) i would setup switch 1 first (create VSAN, zones, zonesets ..etc)

2) configure port on switch 1 that will be used as ISL (set mode to E, allowed vsan, trunk mode to "on" )

3) configure port on switch 2 that will be used as ISL (set mode to E, allowed vsan, trunk mode to "on" )
