Can I disable a device from discovery in Fabric Manager??

I have a SAN topology that consists of a Cisco UCS 6140XP fabric interconnect that is connected to a MDS 9148.  The 6140XP is part of a UCS blade chassis in which the hosts on the UCS are connected through to our SAN Fabric.  In Fabric Manager under the Data Center - SAN dropdown pane for the MDS 9148, I can see the SAN switches that are part of the Fabric which includes the 6140XP.  For the 6140XP, there is an IP address associated with the switch so each time I log into Fabric Manager, it tries to connect to 6140XP via ssh with the account/s used to log into Fabric Manager.

Is there a way to disable those login attemps to the 6140XP?

The discovery cannot be disabled.  I believe this feature is being reviewed for a future release of DCNM-SAN.

The discovery of the UCS 6120 will timeout and lengthen the time for the fabric discovery to complete.  To offset this, one can create a SNMP user in UCS with the same credential used in DCNM.  The SNMP user account need to be a different name than UCSM authentication accounts.

Thank You,
