Was "channel group auto" command removed from MDS running NX-OS or it is part of some feature?

<1-256> Specify a port-channel number

mds9222i(config-if)# channel-group auto
command failed for fc1/1: auto created channel; config disabled
mds9222i(config-if)#
This was available on SAN-OS and still is available on Nexus5k, but mds9222i, mds9124 mds9116i don't allow this.
