Hi all,
I tried to disable some events from SNMP notifications in a MDS switch with NX-OS 5.0(4):
switch# sh snmp trap | inc fcns
fcns : reject-reg-req Yes
fcns : local-entry-change No
fcns : db-full Yes
fcns : remote-entry-change No
Despite this, I received some fcns notifications from the same switch, and I cannot understand why:
Trap: switch,Sev=3,Text=An Existing Entry Deleted from the Name Server Database ( fcNameServerEntry.111.140.0.0 )
Shouldn't this trap be avoided, having disabled the notification as seen above? Can you help me understanding why this happens?
