Hi Team,

I will be editing a particualr zone basically adding new PWWNs to that zone and will activate the existing zoneset using the zoneset activate command in order for the change to take effect. At present there are 12 zones already active and so I definitely do not want ths to be a disruptive action as it is in production. Though I am sure that this should be a non-disruptive active for the active zones. Just need a confirmation or a document that activating the existing zoneset will not cause any disruption to the existing zones. Please confirm the same.

As a general rule, adding new zones to an existing zoneset followed by activation, it is non-disruptive to the exisiting zones.

You can also clone the existing zoneset, edit the clone, and then activate it. This is still non-disruptive.

Check the configuration guide:

Thank you for the response. Yes did edit the zone and reactivated the zoneset without any disruption in the production environment.
