Fiber channel over IP and gigabit ethernet interface

Folks,

Can i tie more than 1 FCIP tunnel to a Gigabit ethernet interface. I was reading documentation and if i remeber correctly, it mentioned about support for upto 3 tunnels over a gigabit ethernet interface, not sure if i can attach more than 1 FCIP tunnel to a gigabit ethernet interface.

Yes, you can run 3 FCIP logical tunnels over a physical GigE interface.

If you dont use 802.1q (vlan):

You must create another fcip interface and use existing fcip profile, but when configuring peer-info

address you should use another ip address.

fcip profile 1

ip addres 1.1.1.1

exit

int fcip 1

use profile 1

peer-info ipaddress 1.1.1.2

int fcip 1

use profile 1

peer-info ipaddress 1.1.1.3
