iSCSI proxy-initiator mode and FLOGI DB entries

Hello,

When using the iSCSI proxy-initiator, you can make virtual N_Ports of iSCSI clients "invisible" to the virtual targets, by hiding their WWN.behind one configured WWN. This means that the target only see the FCID and WWN of the proxy, rather than the virtual iSCSI clients.

My question is; Will the FLOGI database still list one entry per iSCSI client (as it does in normal operation), or will the FLOGI databse only list the proxy-initiator?

regards,

Henning Solberg

Just the proxy-initiator. You will have to do a show iscsi session to see who is logged in via iscsi.
