I am merging the new 9710 with old 9513 and all the 8 ports selected for ISL are in offline state.
How can I validate the ports attempted to merge? How to verify the logs relevant to the merge?

other related commands I considered are below. I need to compare them before and after the merge.
show zone status
show fcdomian domain-list vsan x
show int brief | i trunk
show zoneset active vsan x
show zoneset vsan x
In addition zoneset distribution was done from old switch to new switch to pull the Full zoning database to the new switch. By default the distribution was limited to active zoning database upon the completion of the merge
zoneset distribute vsan x
