Is the LSI 9200-8e SAS HBA supported on the Cisco UCS C-Series M3 rack-mount servers e.g. C220?
The technical documentation does not include it as an option. Neither can I find it in the Interoperability matrix.

You can try the LSI 9200 but you may not get support if you run into an issue. It would be advised to stay with a qualified array controller.
Where can I find a list of hardware and software that are qualified with UCS B- and C-Series servers?
You can find the UCS B- and C-Series hardware and software compatibility list here

If my customer wants to install a third party PCIe card in his C-Series Server, will Cisco support it?
Cisco will support all PCIe cards qualified and sold by Cisco. PCIe cards not qualified/sold by Cisco will be the responsibility of the customer. Although Cisco will always stand behind and support the C-Series rack servers, customers using standard, off-the-shelf third party cards will have to go to the third party card vendor for support, should there be any issue with that particular third party card.

The 9285CV-8e is currently being validated for the C220/C240 platform. Look for an update on this addition. You may be able to consult with your Cisco Account team for clarity on the timeline.
