I have an MDS 9222i that is at 3.23(a) and I want to go to 5.01a. The tech papaers say to go to version 3.3 then to 4.2 then to 5.01 for a non disruptive upgrade. The switch has only 1 Sup card which means any upgrade is going to be disruptive. Here is the question:
Can I skip any of these upgrades and get to 5.01(a) faster. My only concern about being disruptive is I cannot lose the Configuration info ( zones, fcalias, etc.).
Thanks,

"The switch has only 1 Sup card which means any upgrade is going to be disruptive. "
Actually MDS 9222i and also MDS 9124/9134 and MDS 9148 all support non-disruptive upgrade, despite having one supervisor.
