MDS 9222i with 18/4 Module Supported Ethernet Speeds

Hello,

We are connecting the SAN in two data centers via 2 x 100M FastEthernet connections.  This connection terminates on MDS9222i switches with 18/4 port multi-service modules.  These modules have 4 x 1Gb Ethernet.  The question is, can these GigabitEthernet modules be configured as 100M FastEthernet (in other words are these ports 10/100/1000 ports) and is this a Cisco-supported configuration?

These ports are for Gigabit Ethernet SFPs ... you can find supported SFP modules and technical specs in the hardware installation guide:
