We have "SAN_EXTN_OVER_IP_18_4" license, that should cover us for IVR but for the last 90 days an Enterprise temporary license has been running.
This must have been running IVR as IVR has now stopped since the count down got to 0. I have tried to re-install the "SAN_EXTN_OVER_18_4" but it says it has already been installed.
Anything else I can try?
Cheers

Hi Roy,
Here's a couple of possible scenarios that *could* explaing the behavior that you're reporting.
1) The "SAN_EXT_OVER_IP_18_4" is the incorrect license for the type of line card installed (there's a number of SAN_EXTN license flavors based on the specific linecard installed).
2) You have multiple line cards that would each require a "SAN_EXT_xxx" license each.
3) You may really need the "ENTERPRISE_PKG" license.
Of course, opening a Cisco TAC case (and supplying the output of "show tech" at the time you open the SR) will get you a specific answer quickly.
Regards,
Ken

1) The "SAN_EXT_OVER_IP_18_4" is the incorrect license for the type of line card installed (there's a number of SAN_EXTN license flavors based on the specific linecard installed). We have a 18+4 FCIP line card installed, with a 48 host port line card.
2) You have multiple line cards that would each require a "SAN_EXT_xxx" license each. No, we removed the old 14+2 line card a while ago.
3) You may really need the "ENTERPRISE_PKG" license. We do use IVR but that should be covered by the SAN_EXT_OVER_IP_18_4 license.
I have opened a TAC and hopefully we can get the licences fixed today
.
Thanks

I assume you already got a solution from TAC, but for the other forum members... I've seen cases where CSCsz10089 checks out the enterprise license instead of the "IVR over FCIP 18+4" which is solved in 3.3(4) or 4.2(1a).
